The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in attempting to locate missing person, Robert W. Steele. He was last seen leaving his home, in the Town of Culpeper, on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.

Mr. Steele is described as a white male, 83 years of age, 5 foot 8 inches, approximately 120 lbs., blonde/gray hair, blue eyes and wears glasses. He left his home wearing a camo “Outer Banks” hat, blue checkered shirt with a green/white t-shirt underneath and blue jeans. Mr. Steele is believed to be driving his light blue 1993 Mercury Topaz 4-door vehicle with VA tags of UTV5814. He told his family that he was headed to Skyline Drive and never returned. Mr. Steele suffers from cognitive and visual impairments and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
