On December 19, 2021, at 9:33pm, Saugerties Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Kings Highway in the Town of Saugerties. Investigation by officers established that 22-year-old Christopher N. Woolsey of Saugerties, was traveling south bound on Kings Highway when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a guardrail. Woolsey was arrested at the scene for driving while intoxicated. Woolsey was processed at Saugerties Police Headquarters where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC .08% or greater; Failure to Stay Right and Speed not Reasonable or Prudent
