- On 5/10/2026, Daniel A McFadden (age 31) of Batavia, was arrested for Burglary 2nd, Criminal Contempt 2nd, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd, and Harassment 2nd.
McFadden allegedly violated an order of protection, by entering the protected person’s home. When police attempted to take him into custody, McFadden allegedly punched an officer in the face and fled on foot. He was arrested after a foot pursuit and a successful Taser deployment. He was arraigned the following day in Batavia City Court.
- On 5/9/2026, Alfredo Ruiz De La Cruz (age 52) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th.
De La Cruz was allegedly found in possession of an illegal pistol, after police were called to an address on Walnut St for the report of a male playing with a gun. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
- On 5/8/2026, Shaundrasia M Curry-Wright (age 27) of Rochester and Kidtrell N Blocker (age 54) of Rochester, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Both were arrested following a traffic stop on Thomas Ave, where they were found in possession of crack cocaine. Curry-Wright was additionally charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st, after being found in possession of more crack cocaine when she was brought into the Genesee County Jail.
- On 5/10/2026, Cassandra L Hirsch (age 33) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
Hirsch was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. She was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
- On 5/12/2026, Trace G Brewer (age 25) of Batavia, was arrested on two warrants.
Brewer was found hiding in the basement of a residence on Oak St. During the arrest, he was allegedly found on possession of crack cocaine. He was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. He was taken to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned in CAP Court.
- On 5/8/2026, Brandon A Honore (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested on a warrant.
The warrant was issued after Honore failed to appear in court on a misdemeanor traffic ticket. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
- On 5/9/2026, Patricia R McDonald (age 40) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
McDonald was charged following a traffic stop on East Main St. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.
