Sgt. McSweeney Promoted to Lieutenant

The Hillsboro Police Department is pleased to announce that Mark McSweeney was promoted to the position of Lieutenant on February 24, 2023.  Mark was sworn in at the selectmen's meeting on March 8 in front of friends and family.  Mark has worked for the Town of Hillsboro since 2013 and had come to Hillsboro with 6 years of prior law enforcement experience.  Mark is a graduate of New England College and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.  Please join us in congratulating him!
