DUI ARREST / 1312 S. MAIN ST / SATURDAY MARCH 19, 2022
On 03/19/2022 at approximately 1:20 AM, a MAPD officer observed a vehicle conduct a moving violation. The MAPD officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver of the vehicle to be COLLEEN NICHOLE ELLIS. MAPD officers observed signs of impairment from ELLIS. Based on the observed signs of impairment, ELLIS was requested to complete standardized field sobriety testing. ELLIS completed standardized field sobriety tests with unsatisfactory results.
Ellis was placed under arrest and transported to the Mount Airy Police Department for processing.
