* Alert - Door to Door Solicitation, Sales, Peddlers

It's that time of year when Door to Door sales start. All Solicitor's are required to register with the City and obtain a permit in order to go door to door. They should all display an ID badge provided by the City containing their picture and name. If you encounter any Solicitors going door to door not displaying an ID badge, or you suspect that their ID is fictitious, or anything suspicious about them, please, do not hesitate to call 911.

The El Paso Police Department encourages you to report any suspicious individuals, giving a description of the person(s), vehicle(s), and location. The police will be able to ascertain their information to determine if they are legitimate and have registered with the City.  

In addition, you always have the right, no matter what, to deny any solicitation on your private property. Solicitors are required to obey any signage on private property, such as "No Solicitation."
