The Carlinville Police Department currently has a Full Time Police Officer position open. 

We are currently accepting applications to establish a Full Time Eligibility List and also accepting lateral transfer applications.  Our application is on-line on our site. Benefit package includes paid single health insurance, including vision and dental, 2 weeks vacation after 1 year, lateral applicants will immediately gain 2 weeks vacation, 12 sick days a year max 75 days, Down State Pension, and deferred comp eligible. 25-mile residency from CIty limits, within 5 miles will have take home squad.  This is a shift work position, Officers work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off.
