Graffiti Removal

The City of Cortez Police Department is sometimes available to try to remove the graffiti that has been painted on your wall, fence, sidewalk, etc. This is done as a public service so that gang-type graffiti does not become a visible problem in our community. It is also done with no charge to the owner of the property.

By signing the waiver form and giving the City consent to remove the graffiti, the owner is accepting the service.

If the owner decides to have the City remove the graffiti, the Graffiti Removal Form must be filled out, signed and mailed, or Emailed to rliska@cortezco.gov, or delivered to the Cortez Police Department, 608 North Park Street, Cortez, CO 81321. Should the owner have any questions or concerns regarding the removal process, he/she should contact: Ryan Liska, Cortez Police Department, 608 North Park Street, Cortez, CO 81321, (970) 564-4031.
