Incident Blotter

Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Sequoia Ave, for a unwanted party loitering at a private residence. The individual was asked to leave. The person left without further problems.
Craig Police attempted to contact a male individual who was reported to be smoking something inside the bathroom of Murdocks. Male party ran from officer. He was caught and taken into custody. Deputies assisted in searching the area for items the male may have thrown during the chase.
Several items were reported stolen from a section of land northeast of Craig. The reporting party was from out of state and was not sure what was missing. The incident is still under investigation.
Deputies took a report of three individuals trespassing in the Skull Creek area. The incident is still under investigation.
Deputies responded to the Shadow Mountain area for disturbance between father and son. Parties agreed to part ways for the night. No crime occurred.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in Shadow Mountian. Deputies learned that a person walking their dog had shot another dog attacking their dog. The incident is still under investigation.
Deputies responded to assist Craig Police Department with a male party causing a disturbance. Deputies cleared after the party had calmed down.
Night Shift deputies responded to a verbal disturbance in the Western Knolls area . The incident was resolved with no action taken.
Deputies responded to a neighborhood disturbance. Two neighbors were in a heated discussion over a dog running at large. Deputies mediated the situations and the incident was resolved.
Moffat County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted Craig Police Department in locating a male party suspected of paying for gas with a fake $100 bill. Male was located in the 500 block of Yampa Ave. The male was arrested without incident.
