Sheriff's Office K9 Team Brings Home Several Awards

April 15th, and 16th the High Desert Police K9 Association held their 2022 Annual K9 Challenge hosted by the Garfield County Sheriff's Office in Rifle Colorado  There were 7 events in total spanning the two days.  24 K9 teams from Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming competed in the events. Moffat County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Nate Baker and K9 Odin competed in all events. Sergeant Baker and Odin placed 1st in the Muzzle Fight and Hardest Hitting dog events, placed 2nd in the Hardest Bite and Fastest Dog events.  The event is held to raise funds for the retired police dogs' medical expenses, and other K9 training seminars.  For more information visit www.highdesertk9.com
