Drugs and illegal firearm discovered during search warrants

Mesa County, Colorado -   Members of the Western Colorado Drug Task Force (WCDTF) executed two search warrants at addresses in Mesa County on May 10, 2023.  Results of those search warrants yielded the discovery of over 7,000 fentanyl pills, approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, and an illegal firearm.

Twenty-six-year-old Raul Lopez Lizarraga was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detentions Facility.  He is charged with the following:

  • SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES PATTERN OF MAN/SALE/DISP/DIST, SUBSTANTIAL INCOME, SKILL, EXPERTISE DF1
  • SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES CONSPIRACY TO DIST/MAN/SELL - DEF INITIATED/ORGANIZED/PLAN/FINANCED/DIRECTED PART Df1
  • SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES CONSPIRACY TO DIST/MAN/SELL - DEF INITIATED/ORGANIZED/PLAN/FINANCED/DIRECTED PART DF2
