On May 17th, 2025 Corning Police officers were dispatched to Lamphear Court Apartments for a report of a violation of a protection order. Following an investigation, on July 22nd, 2025, 35 year-old Travis S. Otero, of Painted Post, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 1st Degree (felony). Mr. Otero was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently was transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment.
