On July 6th, 2025 Corning Police Officers responded to a residence on E Third St. for a report of subjects trespassing. During the investigation 43 year-old Samantha N. Smith, of Corning, was arrested on a Steuben County Sherriff's Office bench warrant. Ms. Smith was taken to the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently turned over to a Steuben County Sherriff's Office Deputy to answer the warrant.
