• On 2/16/2024, Oraid J Blackshear (age 19) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd.

It’s alleged that Blackshear fled on foot and resisted arrest, when Batavia Police attempted to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. He was also allegedly in possession of a illegal loaded firearm. Blackshear was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the GCJ on $1000 cash bail. He is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

• On 2/16/2024, Nikkia M Farias (age 26) of Batavia, was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd and Resisting Arrest.

Farias allegedly attempted to prevent police from arresting another person, by pulling them away from officers, as they attempted to take them into custody. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 2/20/2024.

• On 2/16/2024, Alan D Tidd (age 34) of Batavia, was charged with four counts of Failure to Register or Verify as a Sex Offender-2^nd Offense.

It’s alleged that Tidd failed to register four internet identifiers pertaining to social media accounts and a phone number. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 2/12/2024, Wendy L Henry (age 39) of Batavia, Brian M Raphael (age 35) of Batavia, and Jessica D Delcour (age 41) of Batavia were arrested for Criminal Trespass 2^nd.

The trio allegedly unlawfully entered an apartment, on Fisher Pk. All were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 2/27/2024.

• On 2/14/2024, Lisa R Richmond (age 35) was arrested on an arrest warrant for Petit Larceny.

Richmond allegedly stole money that was paid to her for a Batavia City School fund raiser. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court on 2/29/2024.

• On 2/14/2024, Douglas G Goodwin (age 32) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Trespass 3^rd.

Goodwin allegedly unlawfully entered a building, on Harvester Ave, on 12/27/2023. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 2/20/2024.

• On 2/11/2024, Jenell M Sauer (age 48) of Batavia, was arrested for Trespass.

It’s alleged that Sauer attempted to gain entry into a residence, that she had previously been trespassed from. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 2/27/2024.

• On 2/11/2024, John A Cabrera Sr (age 56) of Batavia, was charged with Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Cabrera was arrested, after an incident on Washington Ave, where he allegedly violated a stay-away order of protection. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court, at a later date.

• On 2/15/2024, John H Bush Jr (age 40) of Batavia and Jennifer K Freeman (age 40) of Batavia, were arrested on Bench Warrants, from Batavia City Court.

The warrants stem from a traffic stop on 6/30/2023, where Bush was charged with Operating with a Suspended Registration, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2^nd, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th. Freeman was initially charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th. The warrants were issued after they both failed to appear in court. They were arraigned in CAP Court and are due to appear in Batavia City Court, at a later date.
